IFP Pathways

One of the advantages of the IFP at Queen Mary is that, if you meet the progression requirements, you are guaranteed access to a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes at Queen Mary.

You need to complete a UCAS application in order to apply for both undergradute study at Queen Mary and other UK universities and you receive comprehensive guidance and support throughout the undergraduate application process. Most students choose Queen Mary University of London as one of their five choices on UCAS.

Languages, Linguistics & Film

Undergraduate degrees at Queen MaryYour modulesProgression requirements

The IFP has progression agreements with a large number of degrees - many of them joint programmes - within the School of Languages, Linguistics and Film.

These include degrees in Film Studies, Comparative Literature and Modern Languages.

Progression requirements vary from programme to programme, but all have a minimum requirement of 60% in Independent Study Project on the IFP.

Please note that the School of Languages, Linguistics and Film reserves the right to interview potential students at their discretion.  If you are asked to attend an interview, you will need to successfully pass this before being given an offer.

While the IFP does not have formal progression agreements in place with the School of English & Drama, interested Queen Mary IFP are encouraged to apply and their applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
