HSK summer classes

The Confucius Institute at Queen Mary University is offering the following HSK Prep classes for students (QMUL and non- QMUL) who wish to undertake the HSK examination.

This programme has been developed by Dr. Junling Ding and Dr. Qian Bin, the Chinese teachers at the Confucius Institute, and aims to familiarise students with HSK content, practice test taking skills and offer study guidance for all levels.

HSK Exam Prep Fees: £90 per course

 

 

HSK exam dates will be:

    • 18th March- HSK 1 (10.00am-11.30am)
    • 22nd April - HSK 2 (10.00am-11.30am)
    • 20th May- HSK 1 (10.00am-11.30am)
    • 10th June- HSK 2 (10.00am-11.30am)

Chinese Language semi-intensive course (dates for 2018 tbc. It will be similar to 2017 below)

The Confucius Institute at Queen Mary University are also offering a three week 30-hour beginner Chinese class in summer 2017. The classes will be Mondays - Fridays 12.00pm-2.00pm from 3rd July 2017 to 21st July 2017.

The course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of Chinese and focuses on the acquisition of practical communicative skills. It covers basic grammar and essential vocabulary, allowing participants to communicate in Chinese on a limited range of daily topics. Participants will have opportunities to learn to recognise and write simple Chinese characters.
