International Science and Engineering Foundation Programmes

About the International Science and Engineering Foundation Programmes

The International Foundation in Science and Engineering Programme offers a route to undergraduate degrees in a number of disciplines, including Biology & Chemistry, Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Business Management. Students study a total of 8 modules: 4 modules in Semester 1 and 4 modules in Semester 2. Students are also offered free additional tuition in mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics, which is available 5 days a week. Students also benefit from free additional support in English and specialist mathematics.

Students may apply for the 4 year offer: Foundation + 3 year degree programme, or for the 1 year offer: Foundation Programme only*. If they choose the one year option, students may apply through UCAS for degrees at Queen Mary or elsewhere.
