Graduate Diploma in Humanities and Social Sciences

The Graduate Diploma in Humanities and Social Sciences offers a route to masters degrees for international and EU students who are changing discipline, who don't currently meet the academic entry requirements for direct entry to a masters degree at QMUL or any other UK institution, or who need to improve their level of English.  The programme is very intensive, with approximately 18 hours of in-class tuition and 20 - 30 hours of self study each week, and runs from either September - June, or January - July.  The programme is integrated within the university and academic modules are taught by Queen Mary lecturers.  This Diploma is especially useful for students going on to study with the School of Business and Management, School of Politics and International Relations and School of Languages, Linguistics and film at QMUL, although prepares students well for any postgraduate programme within the Humanities and Social Sciences at any institution.
